The Director of Rooms oversees all departments and effectively handles guest needs and manages staff while keeping the hotel running smoothly. The position has active participation in the profit maximization, guest satisfaction, revenue and operational effectiveness. Analyzes financial and rooms operating information in order to achieve budgeted labor, supplies, materials and other cost standards. Possess strong working knowledge of all areas of the hotel, experience making critical decisions, with a proven track record of managing, motivating, and leading a full service hotel team.

Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Managemtne or related field or a combination of equivalent experience and education in the rooms division, food and beverage, or related disciplinesProven experience in rooms division management, preferably in a luxury hotel or resortStrong leadership and team management skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesAttention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standardsProficiency in hotel property management systems (PMS) and related technologyStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsFlexibility to work irregular hours and weekends as needed Benefits
