As the Director of Sales at Modernize, you will lead and inspire a dynamic team of sales professionals, account managers, and leaders to drive revenue growth and cultivate strong client relationships in the high-velocity, transactional business of Live Transfers, Calls to prospects and customers generally between $1M in annual revenue and $10M in annual revenue. Reporting directly to the VP of Home Services, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans, fostering a high-performance culture, and ensuring the achievement of ambitious sales targets, contributing to over $40M+ in annual revenue across thousands of customers. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, a deep understanding of sales methodologies, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.     Responsibilities

Leadership and Team Management:

Lead, coach, and motivate a diverse team of 7 salespeople, 6 account managers, 2 leaders, and a program manager to achieve individual and team goals. Hire top sales talent and add 5 new sales reps to outbound prospect and sell to new clients. Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture that promotes accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement. Provide guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to maximize the potential of team members.

Sales Strategy and Execution:

Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth and expand market presence in the Live Transfers, Calls, and prospects and customers generally between $1M in annual revenue and $10M in annual revenue segment. Identify key opportunities for growth and develop targeted sales strategies to capitalize on them. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies and initiatives.

Client Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty. Collaborate closely with account managers to ensure effective communication and seamless execution of client strategies.

Performance Analysis and Reporting:

Track, analyze, and report on sales performance metrics, including revenue targets, sales pipeline, conversion rates, and customer acquisition costs. Use data-driven insights to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including marketing, product development, and customer success teams, to align sales strategies with overall business objectives. Serve as a liaison between sales and other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of activities. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field (Master's degree preferred). Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, with a minimum of 8 years of experience in B2B sales. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team to achieve exceptional results. Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing strategic sales plans, with a focus on driving revenue growth and expanding market share in the Live Transfers, Calls, and prospects and customers segment, contributing to over $40M+ in annual revenue. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders. Proficiency in sales management software and CRM systems. Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong business acumen and understanding of industry trends and market dynamics in the Live Transfers, Calls, and prospects and customers segment. The expected salary range for this position is $120,000 USD to $150,000 USD annually. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the Company’s compensation practices. The salary may be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location. The position is also eligible to receive performance bonus or commission and equity in the form of restricted stock units. This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s standard employee benefits programs, which currently include health care benefits; (2) retirement benefits; (3) the amount of paid days off (paid sick leave, parental leave, paid time off, or vacation benefits); (4) any other tax-reportable benefits.   #LI-REMOTE
