City Wide Facility Solutions Boston is seeking an experienced and results-driven Director of Sales to lead and manage a team of sales professionals as well as drive team culture. This position’s primary responsibility is to generate net new recurring janitorial contract revenue within eastern Massachusetts. The role demands day-to-day oversight of outbound sales efforts, expertise in territory management, strategic account development, and client negotiations. It requires a strong focus on hiring, training, and retaining a high-performance team that excels in meeting and exceeding sales objectives by ensuring the established sales process is followed. The ideal candidate will possess 8-10 years of progressive sales management experience with a proven track record of surpassing sales targets and developing on-going sales strategies to ensure success.
Requirements
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
+ 8-10 years of progressive experience in sales, with a demonstrated track record of success in achieving sales targets and managing a high-performing team.
+ Demonstrated experience in business-to-business sales and sales management with a proven track record of success in face-to-face selling in a service-related industry.
+ Proven expertise in territory management, strategic account development and large/enterprise account strategy.
+ Demonstrated experience in business-to-business sales and sales management with a proven track record of success in face-to-face selling in a service-related industry.
+ Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of market dynamics and customer behavior.
+ Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract negotiations and RFP responses.
+ Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision making.
+ Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to hire, inspire and motivate a sales team.
+ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a strong commitment to continuous improvement.
+ Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics) and other sales analytics tools.
