Description:  The Director of Sales, Central will be a hybrid-sales role focused on building a business around 
client's long relationship with Microsoft. This role is focused on assisting large enterprises with 

their digital transformation strategies, primarily but not exclusively leaning on Microsoft technologies 

and teaming with Microsoft field sales personal. Part of this role will be driving direct revenue (brought 

to Microsoft) and part of it will be building the Microsoft sell-with relationships with an objective of the 

sell-with relationship becoming 100% of the deal flow. 

Key Responsibilities:

 Develop a strong pipeline of revenues within the eastern region with large enterprise customers

 Establish relationships with Microsoft Field Sales, Technical Support and Partner Managers 

within the eastern region to become their preferred technical partner

 Develop a pipeline of deals coming from Microsoft within the central region

 Identify, develop, and implement effective sales plans and strategies to drive region success

 Along with client's support team and architects, guide customers from evaluation to adopting 

virtualization to private, hybrid and public cloud

 Build strategic relationships with customers to land and expand business

 Accurately forecast revenues and build territory strategies

Experience Required:

 5+ years in enterprise software or system integration sales at industry leading companies. With 

a proven track record of achieving business objectives, in a highly competitive environment, 

working with fortune 1000 companies in the eastern US

 Verifiable experience writing, negotiating and closing $1M+ contracts.

 Knowledge of cloud technologies and the cloud marketplace, especially Azure and prefer 

experience selling cloud technologies.

 Candidate will possess sound consultative sales skills with demonstrable selling experience at 

the C-level 

 Possess in-depth knowledge of the IT Management business vertical, industry trends, end-user 

challenges and competitive landscape 

 Strong business management, planning, execution, and sales skills and experience using 

Salesforce.com

 Ability to work collaboratively with employees across functions.

 Strong communication and presentation skills 

 Advanced knowledge of value selling methodologies, processes and tools 

 BA/BS degree or equivalent experience 

 Ability to travel a minimum of 25% of the time within the given region.
