The Opportunity
Tradebe is seeking an influential sales leader to join our team as the Director of Sales. This role involves leading the Business Development strategy for our regional sales teams, driving growth, and fostering a culture of excellence.
The successful candidate can be based anywhere within the Midwest United States and will have a demonstrated passion for sales and a proven track record of developing future sales leaders.
Foster, uphold, and prioritize a strong culture of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) throughout the team, ensuring that safety and compliance are integral to all operations. Develop and execute tactical and strategic business plans to achieve and exceed goals within specified time frames. Present the company’s value proposition and full range of services to key decision-makers and influencers within target account organizations. Organize and coordinate strategic account penetration and communication activities, leveraging the sales organization, Customer Service, National Account Managers, and Regional Account Managers. Conduct territory reviews with Account Managers using a CRM system. Travel with Regional Account Managers, conduct joint sales calls, and support their professional development. Collaborate with the National Accounts team on accounts impacting the regions. Assist in developing strategic approaches for bids and proposals. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred; other degrees or equivalent relevant industry experience will be considered. Ability to travel extensively within the regions, making joint sales calls with Account Managers and National Account Managers to current and prospective customers. Minimum ten (10) years of experience in the environmental service industry. Minimum five (5) years of experience in a sales management role. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Effective speaker, capable of presenting and articulating the organizational value proposition to drive customer growth. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
