In 2024, they introduced an innovative brand transforming the custom packaging market for SMB CPG companies. This brand offers low-minimum, quick-turnaround packaging solutions, including labels, boxes, and pouches, helping businesses reduce costs, minimize inventory, and accelerate time-to-shelf.
 
About the Role:
The company is seeking a visionary Director of Sales to lead and expand their sales efforts, with a primary focus on the custom packaging division. This dynamic role involves leading a sales team, creating scalable processes, and driving revenue growth.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, coach, and grow the sales team (currently 4 full-cycle sales reps with 1 BDR being onboarded). Set clear KPIs and drive accountability to achieve revenue goals. Foster a collaborative, high-performance sales culture through training, coaching, and mentorship. Design and optimize sales processes, tools, and pipelines to enhance efficiency. Collaborate with marketing to align go-to-market strategies and lead generation efforts. Identify new business opportunities and market segments to drive growth. Optimize pricing, discounting, and contract negotiations in partnership with finance. Build and maintain relationships with key clients and prospects. Drive strategies to increase customer retention, reduce churn, and maximize account growth. Identify opportunities for new product development and market expansion. What You Bring:
8–10 years of proven sales leadership experience with a track record of exceeding revenue goals. Expertise in sales strategies, CRM systems (preferably Salesforce), and team management. Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with a data-driven approach. Experience in printing, packaging, or manufacturing is an asset. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and build teams from the ground up. What’s in It for You:
