About the role:
Reporting to the Managing Director, Development, the Director of Sales and Business Development will be responsible for overseeing and growing our partner sales channel, recruiting and managing independent sales agencies across the USA. This role requires a dynamic leader with a deep understanding of B2B sales, and corporate partnerships, across industries. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with the ability to build and nurture client relationships while leading high-performing sales teams. Highly skilled at sales and business operations, this person will join and inspire a team of like-minded go-getters to achieve our company vision. You will facilitate the growth of OSL’s presence across the United States.

Business Development: Identify and engage potential corporate partners that require increased sales presence. Recruit, train and manage independent sales agencies to deliver our clients sales expectations.Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key corporate clients and partner agencies, ensuring a high level of sales, customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.Sales Team Management: Lead, train, and motivate partner sales agencies. Develop tools, incentives and training to empower the front line to exceed sales objectives.Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive corporate sales strategy to expand brand presence in the USA, targeting key corporate clients, teams, and organizations.Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, product, and customer service teams to align corporate sales efforts with overall brand initiatives.Sales Goals and Reporting: Set and manage sales targets and budgets, regularly analyzing performance and providing reports to senior leadership on progress, challenges, and opportunities.Market Expansion: Develop strategies to expand into new markets, identify trends, and create tailored solutions for clients in partners industry sectors.Event and Trade Show Representation: Attend events, trade shows, and meetings to represent the company and secure new partnerships.Contract Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations with clients, ensuring favorable terms while maintaining strong business relationships.Requirements:
5+ years in corporate/B2B sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership roleUniversity degree or equivalent experienceDemonstrated ability to build professional relationships with internal and external stakeholdersProficiency in understanding financial operating statements and developing business casesExcellent communication, writing and presentation skills Ability to work independently and in a team environmentBilingual in French and or Spanish is an asset but not requiredAbility to travel
