The Director of Sales & BD of Ops and Maintenance Services will lead sales activities for the Airport Services division, focusing on achieving sales and cost objectives selling operations and maintenance labor contracts. This includes overseeing the annual sales plan, budget, and forecasts, while proactively driving growth initiatives.
This role is fully remote - must live within close to a major airport.YOUR IMPACT:
Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a business development strategy in alignment with the VP & General Manager of Oshkosh Airport Services.
Sales Management: Lead customer quoting, pricing inquiries, and the bid/proposal process to secure profitable contracts.
Market Expansion: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow Oshkosh Airport Services, with a focus on profitability.
Client Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key customers in the airline industry through frequent travel and communication.
Sales Target Achievement: Drive sales efforts and close deals to meet or exceed annual sales plans.
Market Insights: Monitor and communicate market trends, needs, and opportunities to the Airport Services leadership team.
Customer Retention: Resolve customer concerns effectively to enhance satisfaction and long-term retention.
Reporting and Analytics: Develop and utilize management reporting tools to track and evaluate sales performance.
Work Prioritization: Plan and schedule tasks to meet deadlines efficiently, ensuring high productivity.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree.
Eight (8) or more years of related experience OR Five (5) or more years of related consulting experience.
Three (3) or more years of management experience.
Ability to travel up to 50%.
STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s degree; MBA preferred.
Experience working with large-scale contracts and negotiating with airline industry stakeholders.
Background in International sales and business development.
Prior experience working in, or with, an airport or aviation industries.
Thought leadership, change management, and project management experience.
Ability to conduct executive level presentations and facilitate group discussions to tackle complex problems.
Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization and to impact others to move toward consensus.

Pay Range:
$117,000.00 - $202,400.00The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
