We are looking for an experiencedDirector of Sales Marketingto lead the opening ofHyatt Place Tallinn.

As Hyatt’s first property in this exciting market, the hotel plays a key role in expanding the brand’s presence and growth in the region.

About the role

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to build strong relationships with local business leaders, industry influencers, and key stakeholders in Tallinn. They will be responsible for leading the Sales, Marketing, and Events teams to drive revenue and ensure the commercial success of the hotel.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in hotel sales and marketing, with strong experience in relationship-building and an understanding of the unique dynamics of emerging markets.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and Implement Strategies: Create and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to establish the hotel’s presence in the market and achieve revenue goals.Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the sales, marketing and events team, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovative thinking and high performance.Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and opportunities for growth.Preopening: Lead and coordinate all preopening sales activities, including developing sales strategies, setting up sales processes, and aligning teams to ensure a seamless transition from construction to successful hotel launch.Brand Development: Collaborate with the management team to define the hotel’s brand positioning, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.Sales Management: Oversee all sales activities including corporate sales, group bookings, events, and catering services to maximize occupancy and revenue.Budget Management: Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources for maximum ROI on campaigns.
