As a key member of the US ENT Sales Management team, the Director of Sales (DOS) has responsibility for achieving regional revenue targets and leading the efforts of a 7–10-member regional sales force. With full regional P&L responsibility, the DOS develops and executes a regional business plan that delivers growth across a broad product portfolio.

What will you be doing?
Responsible for achieving regional revenue and expense targets
Managing team of 7-10 Executive Sales Managers
Developing relationships with key stakeholders including ENT surgeons, hospital administrators, and office staff
Developing and executing regional business plans to drive adoption and growth of Smith+Nephew therapies.
Working cross-functionally with other team members from Medical Education, Marketing, R&D, Market Access, and Operations
What will you need to be successful?
Education: Bachelor’s degree required
Experience: Minimum 10 years in front line sales or sales management role
5+ years’ experience in medical device/healthcare industry required.
Leadership: Preferred experience leading/managing sales team
Travel Requirements: 50-75%
The anticipated base compensation range for this position is $140,000.00- $155,000.00 USD annually.
The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role at Smith + Nephew.
Compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
In addition to base pay, the candidate is eligible for sales commission, incentives and benefits, which include medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401k, tuition reimbursement, medical leave programs, and a variety of wellness offerings.
All field sales and or marketing professionals that are required to gain entry into healthcare facilities to perform the basic remit of their role, must successfully complete our credentialling process, which often includes COVID 19 vaccine management.
