**Position Summary**
In support of the Performance Foodservice Core Principles, the Director of Sales Training and Support is responsible for assisting the company in building the best sales team in the industry by training, developing and supporting sales associates and maximizing their performance and potential.
Develops and executes a comprehensive sales training and support strategy; develops and executes an effective integrated learning and development platform. Collaborate and assist with sales training efforts/curriculums across functions and OpCos and incorporate into overall training strategy. Partner with, consult and support all levels of the Performance Foodservice organization to ensure training and development priorities are aligned and support the Core Principles. Fosters a culture of learning, strives to improve critical capabilities to grow business and to deliver relevant training and support solutions that drive growth and value to both associates and customers.
**Position Responsibilities:**
+ Develops and authors specific training materials across all levels and functions of the Performance Foodservice organization as well as manage training vendor relationships and negotiations.
+ Partners with senior leadership to develop, implement, and communicate strategy for training and software support, ensuring strategy is aligned with the Core Principles; SME lead for strategic projects (eg. WTTS) including user acceptance testing (UAT).
+ Manages team of training specialists and works with OpCos to identify sales training and support needs
+ Designs, schedules and facilitates training using a variety of techniques and adult learning principles to ensure an effective and efficient knowledge transfer; both soft skills and software
+ Core team member of PFGU and supports/assists with PFG training initiatives
+ Owns and manages The Performance Academy
+ Optimize technology to create, deploy, track and report training
+ Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Experience: 6 - 10 years'
of experience in training, development or team learning environments
