Main Responsibilities:

Plans, examines, analyzes, evaluates, and supervises security operations. Prepare and maintain accurate information for audits. Prepares reports and records for the management team and evaluates current procedures, practices and precedents for accomplishing activities and functions relative to security. Prepares periodic budget estimates and reports, orders supplies and equipment as needed. Supervises security personnel initiating personnel actions including recruitment, selections, transfers, promotions and discipline or dismissal, prepares work schedules, assigns or delegates responsibilities and evaluates performance. Conducts, supervises and prepares reports relating to internal investigations of any losses or violations of regulations, policies and procedures. Serves as liaison with public law enforcement, fire and other agencies as it relates to security. Ensures overall compliance with OSHA rules and regulations and maintains proper MSDS labeling and records. Carries out all reasonable requests or special projects by management of which the employee is capable of performing. Assists in implementing, training and administering automated security systems, maintains records and conducts periodic inspections.  Coordinates training with regard to loss prevention, fire, blood-borne pathogens and all other safety topics related to all team members.
