**Job Description**
Join our Global Analytical Technical Solutions leadership team as the Director of Site Operations for our Animal Health Division! In this pivotal role, you will lead our Analytical Technology Solutions (ATS) team across our U.S. facilities. You will be responsible for the strategic deployment of resources and the management of the project portfolio that supports both inline products and the commercialization of new Animal Health products. Your role will involve close collaboration with Quality Control, Bio Process Technology (BTS) teams, and Operations to ensure alignment and prioritization, enabling us to supply our customers reliably and compliantly.
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership and people management capabilities, along with a proven track record in biological testing methods. You will ensure that our analytical product method meet regulatory guidelines and performance standards while fostering a collaborative environment that empowers team members.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Manage and oversee the ATS U.S. teams, including people management and budget responsibilities for sites at De Soto, KS; Elkhorn, NE and Millsboro, DE along with reference qualification responsibilities for the U.S. franchise.
+ Direct and execute the ATS project portfolio across all U.S. sites, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and with precision.
+ Collaborate effectively with regional and local Quality, Bio Technology Solutions (BTS), and Operations leaders to assure timely and accurate project delivery.
+ Support global programs across Science and Technology and Global Animal Health Manufacturing by overseeing or sharing responsibilities for one or more programs/projects.
+ Partner with the Executive Director of ATS to strategically prioritize and deploy resources effectively.
+ Develop and report metrics for the ATS U.S. team to track performance and drive improvements.
+ Ensure that site support, remediation, investigation, and transfer priorities are aligned with local Site Management, BTS, Quality Operations, and Regional Heads at regional sites.
**Qualifications, Skills & Experience Required:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in biopharmaceutical, biological, or analytical science, or equivalent job experience.
+ Master's degree preferred
+ Over 10 years of experience in the research, manufacture, and testing of biological or biopharmaceutical products, with sound knowledge of key analytical technologies such as ELISA and other biological tests.
+ 5 to 10 years of proven experience in leading and developing teams, with a focus on enhancing employee performance and team cohesion.
+ Experience in method development and validation, with a strong emphasis on method robustness.
+ Strong leadership skills combined with business acumen, enabling you to think cross-functionally and build effective partnerships across various departments.
+ Excellent communication skills, capable of advocating and lobbying for resources and support across the organization.
+ Thorough understanding of USDA and/or FDA regulations relevant to the industry.
+ Proficiency in technical writing and current computer software (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
+ A holistic view of pharmaceutical business processes to ensure comprehensive problem-solving and strategic planning.

**U.S. Hybrid Work Model**
