Director of Strategic Planning

As a Director of Strategic Planning you will have the opportunity to oversee the development and execution of the Bedding segment’s long-term strategic plan.  Your contributions will have a direct impact on the business by guiding strategy sessions to establish strategic priorities and actionable roadmaps to achieve goals.

So, what will you be doing as a Director of Strategic Planning?

Evaluate market insights, including customer and competitive landscapes and consumer research. Lead strategy sessions with each Bedding business to establish strategic priorities and set key performance targets. Incorporate strategic initiatives into long-term forecasts and develop various long-term scenarios and action plans. Communicate strategy to key stakeholders and cascade throughout the Bedding Segment. Lead special strategic projects as needed.

 

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. MBA preferred. Strong experience in strategic planning within the Bedding industry. Deep understanding of the Bedding market and key demand drivers. Complex problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to lead cross-functional teams. Strong analytical and project management skills. Visionary mindset with the ability to see the big picture and drive long-term goals.
