Located on a lush tropical campus, our flagship hospital, 1,368-bed AdventHealth Orlando

AdventHealth Orlando houses one of the largest Emergency Departments and largest cardiac catheterization labs in the country

The role you’ll contribute:

The Director of Strategic Program Management supports the Senior Vice President with the governance processes of the Central Florida Division (CFD). This role supports the SVP by providing leadership with facilitation of strategic plan development, elements of strategic plan implementation and deployment of projects; operations and senior management communication across the business unit; and serves as chief aide in detailed execution. Collaborates with the SVP and leadership on the integration of organizational performance excellence principles. Oversees the deployment business plans for the functional area of responsibility.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

· Leads the development and implementation of the operational deployment plans based on the defined strategy to support the SVP.

· Plans and develops agenda for key meetings by collaborating with members of the Leadership Team and the SVP to synthesize and prioritize agenda items.

· Tracks all identified commitments and project task work that are made during executive leadership meetings or project meetings and provides progress reports and updates to the SVP.

· Oversees the preparation of written briefs on decisions for the SVP and the Senior Leadership team including analyzing the pros and cons of options and business impact.

· Collaborates with the Leadership Team on the development of proposals that will meet SVP expectations and standards.

· Serves as a conduit of information and communication from the office of the SVP to leaders and departments. Develops communication strategies for major initiatives and serves as the communications project leader when the message is from the SVP.

· Researches role model organizational practices and processes both from within and outside of health care industry that may be applicable to the functional area.

· Collaborates with the respective Senior Leader(s) within the Division to align and integrate systems and structures to drive performance.

· Supports the SVP in completion of critical projects including budgets, presentations to the governance boards, and AHS assignments.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field of study.

· Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in functional area.

· Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a leadership role

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

· Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or related field of study

· Experience in performance management

· Experience in leading organizational change
