Essential Job Functions
Directs the activities of all functions involved in the procurement, planning, warehousing, distribution and control of materials from the receipt of forecasting demand needs to the delivery of finished products.Helps define and implement the organization’s overall transportation & distribution strategy that dictates flow of products between production and/or storage sites, suppliers and customers.
Develops and maintains relationships with carriers and logistics subcontractors.
Manages inventory and establish controls to ensure Breg is operating at the highest level of performance based on key performance metrics and minimized supply chain risk.
Leads and coaches team members in maintaining excellence on cGMP, quality control and safety.
Leads process improvement and problem-solving initiatives and influence corrective action results using Lean Six-Sigma principles and methodologies.
Drives projects for the optimization of demand management and inventory availability, including minimizing cost while maximizing service levels.
Collaborates with various internal teams, including Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance, to support various business processes to ensure the effectiveness of the supply chain organization.
Management responsibilities include the selection, development, performance management and continuous recalibration of staff; ensures appropriate staffing levels and resource allocation; performs administrative tasks associated with timekeeping, pay, performance, policy administration and other matters related to employment.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field of study, typically Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, Production Planning, Industrial Engineering. Advanced degree is advantageous. 10 + years of progressive supply chain experience to include 3+ years effectively managing others; typically supply chain management, demand planning, production scheduling, and forecasting ideally within the medical device industry. APICS CPIM/CIRM/CSCP Certification preferred. Computer proficient to include web browser/internet search, MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point capabilities. Technical competence includes the ability to learn new software and systems.

Physical Requirements
Performing the duties of this job regularly involves sitting, standing, walking, hearing/listening, repetitive hand movement and grasping. Vision requirements include the ability for close vision, to adjust focus, to color code.
