Your role and responsibilities as Sustainability Director will include:

Manage the team of Sustainability professional delivering our sustainability services to JLL Property and Asset Management (PAM) clientsWork closely with Contract Directors and Client Relationship Directors to deliver sustainability services to clients and provide expert sustainability advice to internal and external stakeholdersUnderstand and interpret client sustainability requirements and how this translates into service requirements for JLLDevelop work programmes and scope of work that will ensure client sustainability requirements and key performance indicators are metDevelop and deliver CPDs, workshops, seminars to JLL teams, PAM Directors, Client teams on sustainability related legislation, emerging sectoral trends and the performance of sustainability programmesResponsibility for quality of all sustainability related client outputsTalent management of sustainability delivery team including creating frameworks for talent developments, promotions, and performance feedbacksManage total revenue and expenses related to delivery of sustainability services to JLL Property and Asset Management clients.Provide monthly review of financials, delivery, and performance of sustainability servicesWork closely with other business units of PAM services to ensure the best delivery across all functionsProactively contribute to various PAM Leadership Groups to enable the business to achieve its vision of transforming the sector and becoming the property manager of choiceParticipate in business development activities to ensure growth of the business and meeting all business KPI'sCreate operational improvements across the businessCreate annual business plans & KPI's and provide progress reports

Role requirements and experience

Minimum 15 years’ experience in managing and delivering sustainability related services to institutional investor clientsProven track record of managing large teams, growth targets, and financialsA sustainability related qualification and a deep understanding of sustainability issues relevant to real estate.A strong understanding of the role of managing agents in the property cycleDetailed knowledge of voluntary and mandatory sustainability and energy reporting protocols applicable to property ownersExcellent relationship building and client management skillsExcellent negotiation, communication and persuasion skills, with ability to co-ordinate projects that require input from large numbers of client, colleagues and supplier staffHighly advanced information management skills, plus complementary use of face to face, telephone and email mediums of communicationA strong team player with the ability to build positive working relationships with a wide range of people
