Kforce has a client in Manhattan Beach, CA that is seeking a Director of Tax Technology. We are seeking a Director of Tax Technology to lead the implementation and support of our tax and e-invoicing technology solutions as we modernize our wholesale, e-commerce and retail operations globally. You will partner with business stakeholders to drive strategic initiatives, ensure compliance with government-specific requirements, manage vendor relationships, and oversee integrations into upstream/downstream systems. Responsibilities: * Develop and execute a comprehensive tax technology strategy aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements (in conjunction with our Finance and Tax teams) * Lead the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of tax engines such as Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE and e-invoicing solutions * Oversee the integration of tax and e-invoicing systems with other enterprise applications (ERP, Order Management Systems, POS, etc.) * Ensure compliance with global tax regulations and stay abreast of changes in tax laws that impact technology solutions * Provide data for auditors and various stakeholders * Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and efficiency gains across tax operations * Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for tax technology solutions * Collaborate with Finance, Tax, and IT teams to identify and implement technology solutions that address business needs * Develop and maintain a roadmap for tax technology initiatives, including budget planning and resource allocation * Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of tax technology solutions * Oversee data governance and quality assurance processes for tax-related data * Manage audit processes and ensure the availability of required data and documentation * Lead cross-functional projects to implement new tax technology solutions or enhance existing ones
