About the Role
McCrometer is looking for a Director, Veralto Enterprise System (VES) who will work with business partners across the entire McCrometer organization to achieve breakthroughs in operational efficiency, commercial growth, productivity, and process excellence. This role reports to the McCrometer President and is responsible for promoting and facilitating the successful adoption of the Veralto Enterprise System across the organization, ensuring that all our leaders lead with VES. The Director, VES will lead, develop, and grow the VES function in alignment with McCrometer’s strategic and operational objectives, while maintaining a commitment to teamwork and a positive, supportive attitude toward all personnel. This leader actively works to develop their team, responds promptly to manage team performance, and observes and complies with all safety regulations and company policies.
Day to day you will:
Expand VES capability and culture at McCrometer
Develop and execute the VES improvement roadmap identifying capability gaps, creating a prioritized action plan, and aligning with annual budgeting processes.
Coach McCrometer leaders ensuring consistent VES approach across functions and developing certified practitioners and trainers
Share best practices across the leadership of other operating companies and stay current with new tools and processes to continuously enhance McCrometer's VES approach.
Drive business impact through thoughtful deployment of VES
Facilitate policy deployment, support strategic reviews, and ensure initiatives are prioritized, funded, and executed sustainably.
Lead Kaizen events, coach on Problem Solving Processes (PSP), and embed VES principles across McCrometer through hands-on engagement with leaders and teams.
Champion VES fundamentals, attending functional daily management gemba, etc. to teach and coach meaningful deployment of VES fundamentals maintaining leadership KPIs and driving impact
Focus on Safety, Quality, and Customer Experience
Acts as facilitator and deploys continuous improvement mindset to advance VES culture to improve Safety, Quality, and Customer Experience KPIs
Direct leadership of EHS and Quality managers, ensuring that they are able to keep the trains running on time while also developing new sustainable processes to drive metric improvements
Work with leaders and associates across customer-facing functions to ensure McCrometer delivers best-in-class customer experience
Are you qualified?
5-10+ years of process improvement and business optimization experience with demonstrated success including experience managing people/projects
Knowledge of key VES tools (including 5S, Daily Management, Kaizen Events, Problem Solving, Standard Work, Transactional Process Improvement, Value Stream Mapping, and Voice of Customer)
Experience building and implementing processes to help improve both external and internal customer experience
Bachelor level university degree in Business or Engineering, or related field; MBA an asset
Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically with potential to iinclude international travel

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
The compensation range for this role is $150,000 - $180,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
