Join a leading federal healthcare consulting firm as the Director dedicated to transforming healthcare in the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network (OPTN). As a Director, you will build, grow, and manage a diverse portfolio of projects focused on the OPTN IDIQ contract. The ideal candidate has a master’s degree and has at least 15 years of relevant experience working with OPTN Operations. The candidate will work in multiple functional areas of operations to include Policy, Budget & Finance, Performance Management, and with the Membership and Professional Standards Committee of the OPTN. 

 

As the Director, you will oversee the successful capture and delivery of complex health projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and compliance with federal regulations and standards. You will be responsible for providing expert insight to lead Task Order capture activities, and collaborate with a diverse group of teaming partners. You will be responsible for managing project cost, schedule, and performance, and identifying and mitigating risks to the program. You will seek opportunities to grow and expand existing work, and serve as a primary client relationship manager. Join us in this rewarding role to make a significant impact on the OPTN. 

Responsibilities Drive Task Order capture based on expertise in OPTN Operations.Manage a diverse portfolio of projects ensuring delivery quality and strong client relationships.Oversee and support key operational activities including staff management, project management, and staff utilization.Provide health informatics knowledge and insights to guide solution and project delivery development.Manage project cost, schedule, and performance to deliver high-quality results.Oversee full systems development life cycle, from planning to implementation and maintenance.Conduct business process reengineering to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Implement and manage structure and management practices for optimal project outcomes.Identify and mitigate risks to ensure program success.Ensure compliance with federal regulations and standards.Foster strong communication and collaboration with stakeholders and project teams. Qualifications Minimum of 15 years of experience in healthcare operations with direct expereince supporting the OPTN.Master’s degree in a relevant field; MBA, MHA, MPHExperience leading growth efforts, including proposals and responding to RFIs and RFPs.Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.Proficiency in business process reengineering and management practices.Strong ability to identify and mitigate risks to the program.Demonstrated capability in managing project cost, schedule, and performance.
