Director Outpatient Clinical Services

Position Summary The director provides administrative and clinical direction to staff assigned to the Day Hospital, Outpatient Services, Integrated Behavioral Health, Older Adult Program, Access Center and Intake Department. Provides program oversight and ensures that patient care is provided in accordance with established standards of professional care and meets all regulatory requirements.
Primary Position Responsibilities 1. Ensures compliance with all State, local, Medicare, Medicaid, and Joint Commission Regulations. 2. Prepares and implements budgets, monitors revenue and expenses, ensures productivity and generates new program development. 3. Provides supervision to Program coordinators, mentoring staff on financial, administrative and clinical program matters. 4. Develops and implements programming in line with the organization's planning process. 5. Responsible for Human Resource management including recruiting, interviewing, hiring, training, disciplinary actions and performance evaluations. 6. Provides administrative and clinical leadership and direction for OPS, Access, Integration, Intake and Day Hospital Programs. Minimum Education: Required: Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or related field Minimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation): Required: 3-5 years of clinical and supervisory experience. Preferred: Experience in behavioral health.
License, Registry or Certification: Required: LCSW, LPC or other clinical licensure. Valid driver’s license.
Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities: Required: Knowledge of all behavioral health regulatory standards and supervisory experience. Preferred: Knowledge of NJ mental health system and regulations, experience with severely and persistently mentally ill consumers, comfort with public speaking and presentations and basic financial management skills.
