View Point Health serves uninsured, underinsured, low-income Medicaid, Medicare, war veterans and some private insurance across multiple locations with a full continuum of behavioral health services and support. The services provided by View Point Health contribute to the reduction in homelessness, reduction in crime and subsequent incarcerations, higher graduation rates, lower dropout rates, decreased ER visits and decreased inpatient admissions. View Point Health has partnered with DBHDD to provide counseling, medication management, recovery and crisis stabilization services for individuals and groups with behavioral health and developmental disabilities. We serve adult clients with psychiatric crisis intervention and stabilization services as well as substance use disorder. View Point Health’s Adult Residential Substance Detoxification Program is a short-term, 24/7 acute care, detox unit located in Covington, GA. Care is primarily focused on supervision, observation and support for individuals during withdrawal management. Residential Withdrawal Management is characterized by its emphasis on medical monitoring and/or on peer/social support. We provide person-centered care and assist with implementing our unit programming based on evidenced-based practices for substance use detox, brief treatment and early recovery support.
