ResponsibilitiesDirect pharmacy operations to ensure alignment with the mission, values, and objectives of the department and organization.
Direct the development and implementation of practices, policies, and procedures in all functional areas of the department. Accountable for department staffing and capacity planning. Oversee the development, monitoring of and compliance with departmental budget(s).Utilize broad knowledge of applicable statutory, regulatory and administrative requirements to direct departmental operations and ensures accountability for the department's compliance. Develop and maintain effective, collaborative relationships with all site leadership, specialties, departments including other specialty managers, associates and related vendors.Implement specialty quality initiatives in the areas of patient safety, the Joint Commission, specialty accreditation, and performance improvement. Participate in the development and administration of both long-term and annual capital plans which include facilities, systems and equipment.Implement and monitor compliance with revenue integrity processes.RequirementsLicensure / Certification / Registration:
Licensed Consultant Pharmacist credentialed from the Florida Board of Pharmacy obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.Education:
Bachelor's or advanced degree in Pharmacy requiredWork Experience:
5 years of experience required.2 years of cumulative leadership or management experience required OR a graduate from an accredited Health System Pharmacy Administration residency program required.Additional PreferencesNo additional preferences.
