Overview
The Data & Analytics team builds internal analytic partnerships, strengthening focus on the health of the business, portfolio and revenue optimization opportunities, initiative tracking, new product development and Go-To Market strategies. We are a hands-on global team providing scalable end-to-end data solutions. Working closely with the business, we influence decisions across Mastercard through data driven insights. We are a team on analytics engineers, data architects, BI developers, data analysts and data scientists, and fully manage our own data assets and solutions.
The Data & Analytics team is looking for an experienced Director, Product Management to drive the strategic initiative to create a SSOT data platform for all transactional data assets within the organization. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and possesses an entrepreneurial mindset.
Role & Responsibilities
•\tProduct Management of large and strategic data programs
•\tSupport the execution of our strategic ADP initiative spanning multiple years, multiple stakeholders, geographies and multiple delivery and support partners.
•\tBuild and maintain holistic views of the program/ portfolio that present both strategic as well current state.
•\tLeverage insights to influence priorities and roadmap feature development while advocating for and driving alignment between stakeholders in the development of acceptance criteria
•\tOwn and prioritize the near-term product roadmap to deliver on business outcomes, quickly identifying points of leverage in complex problems or systems and utilizing data effectively to define success metrics and measurable outcomes.
•\tCollaborate across Product, Engineering, Architecture, Business Operations, Technology Operations, and other teams to ensure a single view of the program/ portfolio across the teams.
•\tDevelop presentations meant for Senior and Executive Leadership level consumption, example- business cases, program overviews, roadmaps, strategic communications, strategic objectives and results etc.
•\tOperates between teams overseeing the gaps between teams, processes, and systems, while removing all blocking issues leading to a program outcome
•\tWork with vendors, partners and external 3rd party teams to drive results, make presentations, review scope, timelines etc.
•\tAct as a utility player who can work with equal eloquence with the teams on the ground as well as senior level stakeholders.
•\tIntroduce leading indicators/ metrics that can predict outcomes of the program while enabling management decisions through program insights and key performance metrics.
•\tEngage with team members by creating a motivating work environment that recognizes, holds team members accountable, and rewards strong performance.
•\tSupport the assignment of clear tasks and objectives and establish performance indicators for monitoring results versus objectives.

•\tExperience playing a product role with exposure to data warehousing, analytics engineering, BI and experience managing large scale programs.
•\tMust have ability to communicate in detail with the technology teams as well as at a strategic level with the senior stakeholders.
•\tMust have prior experience building, implementing, and tracking plans for large and complex programs that span multi-year, multiple geographies and have multiple delivery and support partners.
•\tMust be able to think strategically and anticipate future consequences and trends and incorporate them into the organizational plans.
•\tExperience building strategic roadmaps for the programs to achieve their objectives.
•\tExcellent presentation and communication skills.
•\tMust have been responsible for delivery and engineering in the past and hence must come from a technology background.
•\tMust have great negotiation skills that help arrive at solutions with various competing stakeholders/ teams.
•\tShould be able to analyze trends, data and reports to come up with compelling solutions to complex problems.
•\tMust be able to identify, assess, track, and mitigate issues and risks at multiple levels.
•\tExperience managing complex cross-functional projects.
•\tExperience delivering presentations and engaging with senior leadership.
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, M.S./M.B.A. preferred

Compensation Pay Range

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
