The pay range is $144,400.00 - $259,900.00

Product Teams at Target Corporation are accountable for the delivery of business outcomes enabled through technology and analytic products that are easy to use, easily maintained and highly reliable.  Product teams have one shared backlog that is inclusive of all product, technology and design work.

The Identity & Access Management team within Cyber Solutions is responsible for delivering the capabilities that secure access to Target resources globally for our Team Members, contractors, partners, and Guests. From authentication to encryption, from certificate management to identity management, from humans to workloads, we focus on leveraging robust engineering principles, open standards, common target tech patterns, and a passionate and motivated team of engineers to turn ideas into solutions and outcomes.

As a Product Director, you will set the overall strategic vision for your product space and product team, are accountable for succeeding against identified business outcomes and metrics, will set and manage the product’s budget and financials, set the short- and long-term product goals, and quarterly Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).

You will be accountable for building, coaching, and mentoring a strong team of product managers while also building a strong team culture of progress, transparency, and efficiency across Product teams.  You will be responsible to elevate your collective team’s performance by providing insightful, motivating, and constructive feedback to all roles on the team while also working with senior leadership and peers across pyramids to negotiate and remove execution related barriers for your teams.

You will drive product discovery with key stakeholders to validate hypotheses and concepts with customers before committing engineering time, as you lead highly complex work across multiple pyramids, with interrelated specialties.  You will leverage data and analytics to provide competitive analysis, drive decision making, assess the health and effectiveness of your products and related P&L impacts, and to deliver recommendations to key stakeholders.

It will be critical that you possess an understanding of retail or similar areas, relevant technologies and design principles in order to drive innovative and scalable solutions across multiple pyramids within Target.

Four-year degree or equivalent experience10+ years of product management experience or equivalent domain experience, preferably in IAM, tech, digitalExperience with technology and ability to facilitate communication between business and technology teamsStrong communication skills and proven ability to influence both at a strategic leadership level and cross functionallyExpert at working in the agile environment (e.g. user stories, iterative development, scrum teams, sprints, personas)Strategic mindset and bias for action with strong ability for strategic planning, defining OKRs and driving business outcomesAbility to lead and influence a team while fostering relationships across multiple enterprise-wide teamsExperience developing Product Managers to grow in their careers individually and to mature a Product Management functionAbility to ‘tell the story’ of the Product to leaders, stakeholders, partners, and customers

This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
