Director - Project Management

Join our dedicated team as a Director, Project Management where you will oversee multiple large and complex projects and programs within our Transmission and Substation group. You’ll lead a team that will include Project Managers and Senior Project Managers. Your role is crucial in ensuring the success of our projects and the satisfaction of our clients.

Key Responsibilities: 

You’ll manage all assigned projects to meet performance indicators such as schedule, budget, profitability, AR tracking, client satisfaction, and quality control. You’ll provide direct supervision and mentorship to staff members, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment. You’ll develop and submit weekly operations reports as requested by the VP/Sr Director. You’ll implement and monitor quality control systems for all projects. You’ll maintain accurate monthly fee revenue forecasts. You’ll assist in developing and implementing strategic growth plans for the Business Unit. You’ll participate in sales calls and client presentations and assist in preparing proposals. You’ll develop and maintain strong, positive relationships with clients.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree and/or PMP certificate along with 8-10 years of work experience in the electrical substation and/or transmission industry. At least 5-7 years of experience as a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager or similar role, including 3-5 years within the utility sector, with a focus on capital project programs High level understanding of budget development, forecasting and execution/implementation of best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

Preferred experience of 1-3 years at Director level role.
