Director Provider Operations and Engagement
**Overview** This position is responsible for developing and implementing strategies and processes to ensure all providers have an engaging and seamless experience in their careers at Fairview. As a trusted advisor to senior leaders and executives, this position will provide guidance and strategic consultation on a wide range of provider-related issues while fostering an extraordinary, inclusive provider experience. This position partners with all the stakeholders involved in the Provider life cycle to include recruiting, credentialing, medical staff office, onboarding programs, continuous learning, retention, wellness and engagement of providers. The Director of Provider Operations and Engagement will work closely with key system teams to ensure cohesion and consistency with the broader organization. This position reports to the Chief Medical Officer. **Responsibilities Job Description** + In a matrixed reporting structure, lead the provider group administration function, emphasizing team development and optimization to support future business plans and growth. + In partnership with the Chief Medical Officer, lead the development and deployment of the provider engagement strategic plan. + Dyad partner with Director of Provider Experience to ensure an optimal process for all providers from recruitment through retirement. + Serve as the partner to CMO in all provider related activities, meetings and communications. + Enables the establishment of a one stop destination for all provider needs through Office of Provider Affairs with the goal of improving provider engagement across the system. + Collaborate with the appropriate business leaders that drive provider lifecycle verticals, including recruiting, onboarding, education, wellness, engagement, professional development, retention, and offboarding. + In partnership with the talent acquisition team, develop and deliver strategic vision for provider recruitment, including short and long-term sourcing, marketing, media and pipeline development. + In collaboration with clinical operations teams, design and implement programs that strengthen the clinical and leadership capabilities of current and future provider leaders in alignment with Fairview values, leadership model, and culture. + Collaborate with peers and subject-matter experts to proactively champion provider solutions and develop/implement process improvement strategies for Providers. + Apply operational excellence to ensure effective and timely delivery of provider programs at scale. + Leverage provider data and analytics to drive insights and support decision-making processes related to provider engagement, effectiveness, and quality of care. + Work to ensure coordination, communication, and collaboration with all leaders and programs supporting providers across their employment lifecycle + Other duties as assigned. **Qualifications** **Education** + Bachelor's Degree in business, human resource management, healthcare administration, or related field required. **Experience** + A minimum requirement of 8 years of medical group administration experience. + A minimum of 5 years in provider program development, provider engagement, and/or provider recruitment/contracting and credentialing. + Proven track record in developing and implementing Provider strategies to support high-growth organizations and transformation initiatives. + Demonstrated expertise in leading and supporting organizational change management initiatives. + Ability to navigate and influence within a complex, matrixed organization. + Strong understanding of business operations and the ability to align Provider strategies with organizational goals. + Experience working closely with senior executives and driving Provider initiatives at the leadership level. + Strong communication skills and ability to relate and engage providers.
