Director Records Management

We are seeking a Director, Enterprise Records Management, to lead all aspects of the Company's global records management program. The individual will work with management to effectively develop and implement policies, procedures, standards, and best practices for electronic data and physical records. The role will lead the day-to-day functions of the department and provide leadership, training, and strategic direction for the program.

A typical day might include:

Direct day to day records management activities while developing and implementing plans to service Regeneron’s expanding global footprintImplement strategic goals and objectives to ensure efficiency and complianceDevelop and implement company policies and departmental procedural documentsCollaborate with cross-functional teams on records management related issues and concerns to develop and measure the effectiveness of standards, policies, and procedures.Oversee the design, development, and administration of records management systemsImplement and provide Company-wide records management and related risk-management training and communications to employees, contractors, and external partnersIdentify, select, and implement records management as a service using third party vendorsDirect the processing of business records involved with mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and reorganizations by applying retention and taxonomy schemes

This role might be for you if you have:

Exceptional understanding of long-term digital storage challenges and technologies within a global research or regulated industryCommand of electronic records management concepts, broad exposure to enterprise challenges with classification of dataA strategic mindset with strong attention to detail and ability to communicate across all levels of responsibilityProgressive managerial & leadership experienceExperience in implementing electronic records programs e.g., email retention, electronic document management systems (EDMS)Broad knowledge of records management and protection laws, regulations, and best practicesExperience identifying, selecting, and implementing records management as a service

To be considered for this role you must possess a Bachelor's degree. Certificates such as Certified Records Manager, Information Governance Professional, and records management certifications are not required but encouraged. 8+ years of experience in information governance, records management including records retention schedule development with pharmaceutical or biotech company(s) high desired. Experience designing, leading or consulting on large scale records management programs in regulated industries

Salary Range (annually)

$180,400.00 - $300,700.00
