Director - Regional Compliance

Eaton’s Corporate Finance Team is hiring a Director, Regional Compliance. This role reports to the Senior Director, Controls, Compliance and Advisory. The Director, Regional Compliance will be responsible for oversight and management of all regional resources, globally. This role is an elevation in skill set from the existing Senior Manager role today and will serve as a key strategic partner to Finance senior leaders, leading global projects.   

What you’ll do:

•    Lead strategic global process optimization projects to improve the control environment, including centralization, standardization, and automation of key activities.
•    Oversight and management and mentor regional resources including prioritization of work, resource allocation and responsibility for work delivered by team.
•    Build organizational capability for key areas including strategic thinking, critical thinking, project management and communication.
•    Build strong partnership with senior Finance leaders in the region to be a trusted advisor and actively participate as part of key Finance leadership teams such as Regional Controllership, GFSS, ESA, Aero etc.
•    Identify, assess, and ensure effective mitigation of risk for key financial areas, including problems that arise resulting in deep dive projects.
•    Work with stakeholders to proactively assess, identify & mitigate key risks to ensure an effective control environment at site and / or process level.
•    Lead a team that engages in cross-functional collaboration, provide expert advisory, and employ strategic problem solving to achieve operational and financial results.
 

Qualifications:

Basic (Required) Qualifications:
•    Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution. 
•    Minimum ten (10) years of experience in accounting, finance policy and/or internal control standards.
•    Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future. 
•    Must currently reside in the United States and work out of a U.S Eaton or U.S remote location. 

Preferred Qualifications
•    Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, and/or IT.
•    CPA, CFA, or MBA.
•    Operations finance experience. 
•    Detailed understanding of financial business processes (INV, OTC, PTP, RTR).
•    Detailed understanding of internal control and risk management concepts.
•    Proven strategic thinking & project management skills.
•    Experience managing global multi-cultural teams.
•    Proven ability to influence and deliver within cross-functional teams.
•    Advanced desktop analytic skills.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $176249.97 - $258499.96 a year.  This role is also eligible for a variable incentive program.
