Director-Retail Sales
**Job Description:** Working as a Director of Sales, you will direct a team of Area Retail Sales Managers to manage the Retail Stores over a defined territory. You will ultimately be responsible for hiring, coaching, and development within your territory. Additional Responsibilities: + Responsible for successfully achieving sales, revenue targets and customer satisfaction within assigned geographical area and customer base. + Overall leadership of sales team to include, but not limited to: staffing/retention, team development, performance and compensation management. + Spend approximately 10% - 15% of your time visiting retail locations (scheduled and unscheduled visits) to monitor the customer experience and ensure excellent customer service is being delivered. + Hold timely staff meetings to share critical information. + Provide strategic direction to ensure the communication, implementation and execution of marketing and merchandising programs. + Partner as appropriate with Sales Operations and Finance teams to understand budget and headcount goals. + May facilitate large meetings such as training sessions, and other promotional events. + This is a third level supervisor position. Required Qualifications: + Seven years of sales management experience with direct reports, preferably in the wireless, data and/or telecommunications industry + Strong wireless and telecommunications industry knowledge + Negotiation skills + Exceptionally strong analytical skills + Exceptionally strong process and project management skills + Strong leadership skills to drive initiatives and to manage sales organizations expectations and issues. + Exceptionally strong communication skills + Strong interpersonal skills (deliberate, focused, fair) + Understanding of sales and sales process management + Strong presentation skills + Exceptional multitasking skills + Ability to work routinely under very tight timelines. + Ability to travel 10% - 15% of the time. + Designated "driving" position. Desired Qualifications: + Eight years or more of sales management experience with direct reports, preferably in the wireless, data and/or telecommunications industry. + Familiarity with wireless terminology and AT&T Mobility systems + Previous experience managing within the Retail Sales channel. + Strong billing system and customer service skills Our Director of Sales earn between $134,600 - $201,800 + $37,000 in commissions yearly if all sales goals are met.
