Director – Risk Analytics, Commercial Risk This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our New York City office. You will enable our brokers and consultants to engage with our clients and support them in meeting their goals through enriched client experiences! This position will flex from the most mundane to the most exciting. It will be important that the colleague in this role is motivated by the vision, and able to complete the tactical elements as required. Reporting to the Head of Risk Analytics, Commercial Risk NA, you will work closely with the Commercial Risk broking teams, the NA Account Executive teams, and various other adjacent partners to effect transformation of how we ‘show-up’ for clients, with advanced analytics embedded in our broking product. What the day will look like + Embedding advanced analytics practices across the North American broking and consulting team. + Work with our Risk Analytics Product teams to both understand and communicate the nuances of our differentiation and distinctive value proposition. + Driving elevation of our product offering by providing technical instruction, message training, client interaction, supporting and participating in orals presentations, supporting written responses to RFPs, and ultimately, public speaking opportunities. + Support marketing activities and campaigns, major events, and colleague and client facing symposia all with the aim of promoting Aon’s reputation for excellence in Analytics. + Change how our clients, colleagues and competitors perceive Aon in how we show up as a firm to enable our clients to make informed decisions on risk. + Have successful conversations with clients through analyzer technologies. + Work alongside training team to develop professionalized technical and Message, Meaning and Value training content + Partnering with our Broker teams in identifying new training opportunities for analyzer tools and ensuring training content is engaging and relevant Skills and experience that will lead to success + 8+ years of demonstrated ability in the insurance industry within broking, finance and analytics + Conversant in insurance and risk topics, specifically understanding the underpinnings of insurance, risk quantification, and risk finance decision-making. + An orientation to Corporate CFO/Treasurer/Financial Leader’s mentality. + Strong interpersonal communication and public speaking skills, with the ability to engage effectively. Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Risk Management, Business Administration, Data Science or a related field. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of New York City, NY. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location. This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary.
