Primary Roles & Responsibilities:
Develop Safety Strategies and Policies: Develop and implement comprehensive safety strategies, policies, and programs aligned with the organization's goals and objectives. Establish safety performance metrics and targets to drive continuous improvement. Provide Leadership and Oversight: Provide strategic leadership and oversight of all safety-related activities within the organization. Collaborate with executive leadership and department heads to integrate safety considerations into business planning and decision-making processes. Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of relevant safety regulations, codes, and standards applicable to the organization's industry and operations. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations governing workplace safety. Manage Safety Operations: Direct and coordinate safety operations across multiple locations, departments, and business units. Develop and implement standardized safety protocols and procedures to mitigate risks and prevent accidents. Risk Management and Incident Response: Develop and maintain a comprehensive risk management program to identify, assess, and mitigate safety risks. Lead investigations into safety incidents, accidents, and near misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions. Employee Training and Development: Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees at all levels of the organization. Ensure that employees receive adequate training on safety protocols, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Promote Safety Culture: Foster a culture of safety throughout the organization by promoting awareness, engagement, and accountability. Encourage employee participation in safety initiatives and recognize and reward exemplary safety performance. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory agencies, industry groups, and community organizations, to promote safety best practices and initiatives. Represent the organization in safety-related forums, conferences, and industry associations. Budget Management: Develop and manage the safety department budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to support safety objectives and initiatives. Monitor expenditures and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiencies.

Education / Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, engineering, business administration, or a related field. Advanced degree (e.g., Master's, MBA) preferred. Minimum of 10 years Safety Management experience within the technology services industry. End-to-end process thinker, with proven experience in leading change within an organization and understands how change affects employees and utilizes strategies to reduce risk to the organization. Strong experience handling employee issues and making sound judgment decisions in this area. Able and willing to travel up to 50%. Professional certification in safety management (e.g., CSP, CSHM) highly desirable. Extensive experience in safety leadership roles, with a proven track record of success in developing and implementing safety programs in a large organization. In-depth knowledge of safety regulations, codes, and standards applicable to the organization's industry and operations. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Analytical mindset with the ability to assess complex safety risks and develop effective risk management strategies. Demonstrated ability to drive change and foster a culture of safety excellence.
