GENERAL FUNCTION
The Director Store Systems for Corporate Retail Licensed Brands is responsible for the support and sustainment of the Brand’s complex and diverse store systems. They will provide operational leadership on the current customer transaction projects as well as pro-actively work toward future needs with a focus on Digital applications and OMNI channel projects. They will exercise independent judgment and discretion to identify and recommend improvements in operational efficiencies, processes and productivity, and collaborate in the development, implementation and communication of technology strategies and plans. They will identify and recommend improvements in operational efficiencies, processes and productivity based on experience and strategic analysis.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Store Systems Management
With IT, serve as Operations liaison for store systems management including issue resolution, user acceptance testing and release management Serve as SME to ensure all systems functional requirements, deployment, and sustainment plan meet Brand needsProject Management
Lead cross-functional implementation of Store Technology initiatives to include POS and mobile technology, Digital applications, and OMNI channel initiatives Represent the stores perspective on all store technology hardware and software initiatives Leads the functional development of the customer transaction processes across store systems Establish processes and tools for support, sustainment and release management of live, chain wide store systems to enable our associates to deliver amazing customer experiences Proactively partner with IT & cross functional teams to review store system usage, performance and feedback to drive strategy for future enhancements Drive field usability, adoption and performance Track project status against key milestones and evaluate ability to achieve timeline Identify issues and maintain ongoing log Coordinate issue resolution meetings between user group and technical team Align all system release and deployment timing with Senior Ops Leaders Provide communication content for all projects and initiativesLeadership
Drive operationalizing and standardizing existing store systems enabling associates to serve customers with excellence and to ensure consistent, repeatable deployment plans and heightened execution Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and develop project plans to deliver on those improvementsBASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience 10+ years experience with retail or system implementation 5+ years project management experience Strong analytical and critical thinking skills Clear communications, both written and verbal Ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously Proficiency of Windows software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
College Degree preferred Project management experience with complex system deployments Project Management Certification 5+ years in highly technical discipline and/or specialty retail 5+ years operations experienceEmployee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
