Role local to Phoenix, AZ.

Job Summary:

Oversees a team engaged in supply chain functions including customer, solution, and inventory planning and management, while mitigating risk and enabling profitability. Works with company and partner leadership in support and development of the business group’s strategy and financial goals. Engages in building and leveraging supplier and customer relationships to create and align supply chain plus operations accountability. Develops and deploys innovate solutions and thought leadership to sales and business development teams to drive growth. Provides oversight and direction regarding assigned team, financial and operational activities.


Principal Responsibilities:

Develops strategic goals/Plans and monitors results.Ensures training and team proficiency standards are maintained.Ensures new and existing opportunities meet or exceed profitability standards.Drives sales and marketing efforts for Supply Chain CustomersProvides weekly sales forecast and leadership reports as required.Oversees SC expense, sales, profit and travel budgets.Manages the process of analyzing customer forecasts and trends for materials to determine feasibility of forecasted requirements. Reviews and reports forecast models that reflect customer requirements for submission to appropriate internal departments for procurement.Manages the review of inventory supply constraints, communicates resolution, and participates in follow-on activities to ensure compliance with commitments to our customers.Oversight of assigned engagements of team, to ensure all model metrics and measurements are being met and appropriate reporting requirements are adhered to according to contractual terms and conditions.Manages the resolutions process to correct problems plus enhance improvements associated with supply and inventory flow.Project manages the program set up and maintenance, e.g., part profile, new part adds, End of Life (EOL), transitions, model changes, and recommends modifications to program set up, operation, and inclusion to enhance efficiency and revenue.Manages and coaches’ team to support negotiations with suppliers, customers and internal stakeholders.Ensures alignment of the company's goals and objectives with supplier to ensure mutual goals and objectives are achieved.Other duties as assigned.

Decisions are guided by functional strategy and priorities.Collaborates with senior management and others concerning matters of significance to the company. Routinely conducts briefings for senior management and/or key external contacts. Influences senior management or customers/clients.Decisions likely have serious impact on the overall success or failure of a function. Erroneous decisions or recommendations result in critical delays or modifications to company objectives and cause long-term harm to business operations.


Work Experience:

Typically 10+ years including 5+ years of management experience


Education and Certification(s):

Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred) or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.


Distinguishing Characteristics:

Demonstrates strong leadership skills with ability to inspire and motivate cross functional teams to achieve resultsSkilled at managing change and driving transformation within supply chain.Strong understanding of financial metrics and their application in supply chain.Proven experience in contract negotiation.
