We are seeking a Director - System RC Analytics - Revenue Cycle at Aspirus Westwood Conference Center in Wausau, WI to join our team!

The System Director of Revenue Cycle Analytics is responsible for the leadership, planning, monitoring, and directing the execution of both strategic project implementations (where revenue cycle resources are required) as well as revenue cycle process improvement activities that drive organizational results through increasing revenues and efficiencies. This leader will oversee a department responsible for tracking, maintaining the integrity of, and reporting revenue cycle performance metrics and maintain working knowledge of revenue cycle processes and workflow to proactively identify and recommend improvement opportunities to revenue cycle operational leaders as well as be able to be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for revenue cycle operations for strategic project implementations. This position will be responsible for all Aspirus entities and will work to appropriately integrate and facilitate best practices, achieve efficiencies that align with Aspirus’ strategic plan while maintaining quality and customer service standards. This position will also ensure the department is operating within rules and regulations applicable to the department. This position serves as an internal consultant/expert for the revenue cycle those areas of responsibility and provides a bridge between clinical and revenue cycle areas to support quality patient care and revenue cycle objectives. 

Education/Qualifications

Knowledge of health information management normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or other health related profession.Two to three years of management experience in a health care setting necessary to develop administrative skills, including work experience in the field of healthcare analytics.Knowledge of revenue cycle practices normally acquired through previous experience.Previous experience with auditing and internal controls is preferred.Experience with electronic medical records and other ancillary information technology systems.Possess a high level of resourcefulness, innovation, and interpersonal and critical thinking skills.Ability to use independent judgment and decision-making.Ability to deal with frequent interruptions.Ability to prioritize workload.Ability to collaborate including building, leading, motivating and coordinate activities of a cross-functional and/or multi-corporate team.Possesses project management, change management and analytical skills necessary to develop and implement appropriate changes.Strong personnel management skills to direct work of and motivate assigned staff.Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience.Understanding of general business concepts and regulatory environment.Position requires some travel.Strong troubleshooting skills.Possess conflict resolution skills.Strong customer orientation. Professionalism.Annual competencies as required by Aspirus and/or various regulatory agencies based on entity and/or job position.

Hours: Full-time or 1.0 FTE 80 hours every two weeks. Monday-Friday 8am-5pm CST.
