Job Summary

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with vendor partners, initially our primary recruitment processing partner, to ensure the timely and effective delivery of quality candidates for Optimum.

Responsibilities Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential talent acquisition and temporary agency vendor partners. Partner with procurement and legal in the negotiation of contracts and agreements with vendors to ensure mutually beneficial partnerships and defined vendor accountability KPIs and deliverables. Regularly assess vendor performance and provide feedback for continuous improvement. Monitor usage of tools, and partner with Vendor on KPI’s to prepare regular reports on key performance indicators and provide insights for optimization. Assist in defining the working KPI’s while partnering with stakeholders. Utilize data and analytics to assess the effectiveness of vendor partnerships. Define end user experience and collaborate a seamless and positive experience for users. Work closely with vendors to address and resolve any performance issues promptly. Identify and evaluate potential vendors to expand our network of talent sources, potentially beyond regular employees to include temporary and contract workforce. Lead the onboarding process for new vendors, including training and orientation. Collaborate with TA Business Partners and other key internal constituents to understand client requirements and expectations. Facilitate communication between internal teams and vendors to streamline processes. Ensure vendor compliance with company policies and industry regulations. Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with vendor relationships.

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Human Resources, or equivalent experience. 10+ years of experience in vendor management or recruitment resource/partner management, preferably in a contractual staffing environment. Proven track record in influencing teams, and internal stakeholder groups, demonstrating leadership, and achieving team targets; comfortable consulting and advising executive leaders. Experience creating and running a disciplined RFP process and identifying what the requirements will be. Demonstrated capability to hold vendor partners accountable to the established ROI and KPIs on the investments made, along with contract adherence governance. Experience implementing and running large scale projects. Knowledge of regulations and employment laws. Demonstrated organizational, project management and compliance management skills. Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage effectively with vendors and internal teams. Highly proactive, with clear and disciplined communication skills (both written and verbal) to convey delivery requirements or changes in staffing needs aligned with contract terms, provide feedback, and maintain vendor relationships. Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Analytical mindset with the ability to use data for decision-making and telling the story in a consultative manner. Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems and data analytics tools.

This position is identified as being performed in/or reporting to company operations in New York State. Salary ranges are supplied in compliance with New York State law. Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $141,372.00 - $201,960.00 / year. The rate/range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
