Director Technical Sleep Medicine Program
Overview Expected pay for this position is $48.76 - $64.61/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. POSITION SUMMARY: The Director, Technical Sleep Medicine Program works in a dyad relationship with Director, Medical Sleep Medicine Program for the sleep program to develop and maintain uniformly excellent and cost-effective technical operations throughout the Ministry. This role works within the framework between the multiple OSF Entity Operating Unit Leaders and Sleep Lab Leaders to operationalize key initiatives and support clinical polices that will support and align with the strategic management plan and the organization's key results. Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelor's degree in Healthcare related field (i.e. Respiratory Care, Polysomnography, physiology), Healthcare Administration, or Business. Experience: 5 years clinical experience in sleep or respiratory care, with documented proficiency in all required competencies. 5 years of progressively more responsible experience in health care operations. 3 years of leadership experience. Ability to perform diagnostic testing and treatment sleep studies on patients of all ages and locations. Ability to plan and develop a budget, and develop and follow a business plan. Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to listen, evaluate, participate in discussions, and sell ideas; plan and communicate effectively with user departments and internal and external system users; translates technical specifications and requirements into a language appropriate to audience. Familiar with healthcare delivery system business processes and requirements. Licensure/ Certification: N/A Other Skills/ Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Master’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare or a closely related field. Experience: Utilizing Performance Improvement and Change Management tools and methodologies.
