Join our dedicated team as a Director in our Transmission Line group! You’ll oversee multiple large and complex projects and programs, leading a team of talented engineers and senior technical leaders. Your role is crucial in ensuring the success of our projects and the satisfaction of our clients.

Key Responsibilities: 

You’ll be responsible for the technical oversight, mentorship, and direction of engineering teams working on a portfolio of projects or multiple individual projects for various clients. You’ll collaborate with other departments to execute the engineering and design components of projects, leveraging the knowledge and experience of your team. Mentoring, training, and supporting your engineers will be a key part of your role. You’ll partner with project managers to plan, direct, and monitor project teams, ensuring all technical aspects of transmission line engineering are executed effectively. You’ll also monitor technical resources and workload forecasts, manage the scope, schedule, and budget, and ensure the overall quality and technical accuracy of project designs.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering from an accredited engineering school. At least 8 -10 years of experience related to routing and design of high voltage transmission line facilities. Experience in 69kV to 500kV overhead line design including expertise in Power Line Systems based programs (PLS, PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE). Familiarity with design codes

Preferred Qualifications:

Preferred experience of 1-3 years at Director level role. Professional Engineer licensure by examination or must be preparing to take the PE exam in the short term.
