Disability Coordinator

We value our professional and caring employees who are dedicated to improving people’s lives and we want **YOU** to join our team! **What you will be doing:** You’ll be responsible for oversight of the disability program including interactive disability accommodation process, assuring development of required plans , reviewing non-health educational documents, providing training to staff as necessary, maintaining confidentiality disability records, and providing instruction to special education students, in compliance with government and management directives. 1. Oversee the accommodation review process by reviewing Job Corps applicant files for possible health, mental health, physical, drug and alcohol, or educational accommodations. 2. Coordinate with the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) to identify accommodations needed. Provide applicant materials to IDT members for review and ensure the review process is thorough and appropriate. 3. Set up and maintain accommodation files. Monitor, track, and follow up on the effectiveness of accommodations. 4. Make determination if accommodation is reasonable or not for facility to provide. 5. Adjust accommodations when needed. Reconvene the IDT periodically to develop more effective accommodations for individual students as necessary. + **QUALIFICATIONS, REQUIRED AND REQUESTED SKILLS:** Bachelor’s degree + One (1) year related experience. + Experience developing Individual Accommodation Plans (IAP's) for clients with mental health, physical, and learning disability, and experience developing linkages with disability and mental health agencies. + Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.Management & Training Corporation (MTC) is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
