The Disability Program Specialist II: Dedicated Reviewer will join our team and serve a portion of Kentucky by conducting certification and billing reviews, as well as providing technical assistance for agencies supporting participants in the Supports for Community Living (SCL) Medicaid waiver program. The SCL waiver program is a home- and community-based program funded by the Kentucky Department for Medicaid Services and administered by Division of Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities (DDID) http://dbhdid.ky.gov/ddid/scl.aspx.
This position will conduct certification and billing reviews, submit professional quality documentation, and provide technical assistance to ensure participants with waiver funding receive the supports to which they are entitled and to ensure those supports are provided in compliance with regulatory requirements.
This position will advance the mission and strategic plan of the HDI through research, education, and outreach. This position will contribute to a workplace in which individual differences are recognized, appreciated, respected, and responded to in ways that fully develop and utilize each person’s talents and strengths. Skills / Knowledge / Abilities Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? No Preferred Education/Experience Driver’s License preferred. Required License/Registration/Certification None Physical Requirements While there are physical, psychosocial and cognitive requirements of the position, the job duties can be accommodated for essential functions being completed in a variety of ways. Shift 40 hrs week; Days (Typically 8:00am-5:00pm); additional hours (evenings/weekends) as needed. Job Summary Work and regular work-related travel for this position will be located in the Western and South Central Kentucky area.
