Disassembly Technician
**Job Title: Disassembly Technician ($21/hr.+)** **Job Description** We are seeking a Disassembly Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for disassembling, refurbishing, and preparing various parts for reassembly. This is a physically demanding position that involves working with hand and air tools, operating overhead cranes, and performing maintenance on shop equipment. You will be working in a temperature-controlled environment with a shift from 6am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday, with some additional hours as needed. **Responsibilities** + Disassemble units to be repaired. + Clean and inspect all parts from disassembled pumps. + Evaluate the condition of original parts and refurbish those to be reused. + Operate water bath to clean nuts and bolts. + Sandblast, grind, and finish various parts. + Follow work orders for refurbishing parts for industrial vacuums and air compressors. + Develop repair estimates and write technical reports describing malfunctions and repairs. + Operate overhead crane. + Perform maintenance on shop equipment such as part washers and bead blasters. + Troubleshoot equipment and refurbish parts. **Essential Skills** + Mechanical assembly experience. + Experience with hand and power tools. + Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues. + Experience with disassembly processes. + High school diploma or GED. + Ability to lift 40+ lbs. + Basic computer skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with sandblasting, painting, or water jet operations. + Experience with disassembly of motors, pumps, compressors. + Ability to read and write technical reports. + Open to working additional hours and weekends. **Why Work Here?** We offer a competitive pay and a great work environment that is clean and temperature controlled. It is temperature controlled and uniforms are provided weekly by Cintas for both full-time and contract employees.
