Candidates will be expected to collaborate with leadership, develop strategic plans, and assist in managing key functions of the Recovery division. Limited travel/deployment may be required by client request. Candidates for the **Disaster Recovery Associate** position will be considered for our internal Recovery Cadre pipeline. Individuals we have added to this internal Recovery Cadre pipeline will receive first consideration for future openings that align with their skillset and interests. If you are interested in active open positions where we would be looking at immediate hire, please review the other openings on our website. **Responsibilities of the Disaster Recovery Associate** **Include:** + Produce and maintain internal documents for various types of emergency management and recovery operations. + Support project and initiative management through tracking of assignments against deadlines and milestones, following up with key players, and maintaining overall visibility of the project/initiative-s status and progress. + Coordinate technical proposal development and partner with Hagerty technical teams to create, modify, and finalize content in support of proposal development. + Conceptualize and develop briefings, talking points, presentations, and other collateral to support the Recovery division. + Support FEMA Public Assistance (PA) and/or FEMA Public Assistance (PA) Policy Projects and Initiatives. **Qualifications for the Disaster Recovery Associate Include:** + At least one (1) year of professional experience in a team-oriented environment, which may include internships, academic settings, work studies, and/or part-time jobs in a role providing some support to leadership or management. + A Bachelor-s Degree from an accredited university. + Demonstrate strong critical thinking abilities to analyze complex situations, make informed decisions, and solve problems efficiently while managing multiple tasks and competing priorities simultaneously. + Team player who can establish and maintain effective working relationships and collaborate with a diverse group of external stakeholders and internal staff members. + Expert Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products (including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint). **Compensation for the Disaster Recovery Associate Includes:** + Salary Range of $50,000-$80,000.
