The Discovery Account Manager for Northern Poland is responsible for driving overall customer success aligned with Cytiva's strategy and goals, leveraging the entire Cytiva account team. This role involves owning the overall customer relationship across the account, serving as the primary contact between the company and customers, and growing the business through a deep understanding of the market, familiarity with customer needs, and comprehensive knowledge of our product portfolio.
This position reports to the East Europe Zone Leader and is part of the Discovery Sales Team located in Polen and will be fully remote.
What you will do:
+ Customer Relationship Ownership: The Account Manager owns the customer relationship and accounts, representing the entire Cytiva portfolio
+ Consumables Portfolio Growth: Accountable for growing the consumables portfolio within the assigned territory and across all customer segments
+ Achievement of Sales Targets: Responsible for achieving the quarterly and yearly operating plan within a defined territory while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
+ Accurate Forecasting: Accountable for timely and accurate forecasting of pipeline and sales using our CRM system
+ Proactive Lead Generation: Possess a "hunting" mindset to generate leads and develop new accounts, driving business growth and expansion
Who you are:
+ Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Life Sciences: (Biotechnology, Biology, etc.)
+ Several years of experience in the Life Sciences industry with a proven sales track record
+ Expertise in Protein Science: Possesses strong knowledge in protein science, chromatography, cell culture, and filtration, bringing valuable insights to the role
+ Sales and Business Development Success: Proven track record of achieving outstanding results in sales and business development.
+ CRM Proficiency: Highly experienced in utilizing CRM tools, such as Salesforce (SFDC), to effectively manage and drive sales processes
+ Distribution Partner Development: Adept at developing and expanding business through strategic partnerships with distribution partners
+ Fluently Polish and English language skills
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
+ Ability to travel – around 50% travel, in northern Polen
+ Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
