Stage plates and setup breakdown area prior to events.Assist FOH prior to events as neededMaintains sanitary and safe work environment.Always maintains clean dry floors and walls, including sweeping and mopping.Scrapes food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine.Washes pots, pans, trays, worktables, walls, ranges, refrigerators, and meat blocks.Segregates and removes trash and garbage and places it in designated containers.Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans.Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.Help keep all China, Glass, and Silver in place, along with keeping the Banquet storage areas stocked and orderly.Help with light prep cooking and plating up.Assist with proper food storage and rotation.Report to work when scheduled, on time, in proper and clean uniform, including name tag. Personal appearance and grooming must conform to TCC dress code.Keep track of the cleaning supply usages and inform Chef when supplies are getting low.Clearly communicates with Kitchen Supervisor and Executive Chef.Responsible for being able to communicate well with team members while maintaining a positive and professional work environment.Must be able to follow direction given by the Kitchen Supervisor and Executive Chef.Supervisory Responsibilities

Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED equivalent.At least one year of related experience in commercial kitchen preferred.Must be able to work days, nights, weekends and holidays as dictated by events.Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk for long hours. Stooping and lifting is also required. Will be regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and toxic or caustic chemicals. Must be able to lift 30 pounds to the waist.
Working Conditions: Fast-paced, very physical environment. May be exposed to extreme cold from walk-in coolers/freezers for up to one hour at a time. May be exposed to extreme heat from hot burners and/or steam for extended periods of time. May be exposed to minimal amount of smoke for extended periods of time. May be exposed to cleaning chemicals. Requires standing for several hours at a time each day.
