Position Description Wally’s dish washer works as a member of the Food Service Team, and is responsible for providing great guest service, maintaining the dish area, and cleaning equipment and stations. Successful food service team members work in a fast paced production environment and maintain sanitary requirements of their assigned station and equipment, while creating a guest-centric atmosphere. Responsibilities and Duties Provide an upbeat, polite, pleasant guest experience while performing duties in a timely fashion. Follow and comply with Standard Operating Procedures, Company Policies, Team Member Handbook, and directives given by management. Responsible for keeping the dish area organized, clean, sanitized & running smoothly Maintain the proper water temperature for cleaning & sanitizing Comply with uniform standards and maintain a “well groomed” appearance. Perform other duties as assigned Required flexibility in scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays. Position Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred. Prior food service experience preferred. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Team Members are regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to walk. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
