Position: Cafeteria Attendant

Schedule – Varies, Full Time, 8hr shifts - 10AM-7PM Off: Monday and Tuesday

What you will be doing: You’ll be responsible for replenishing napkin dispensers, plate racks, silverware racks, salt and pepper shakers and condiments. Make coffee, tea and other beverages and set up cafeteria lines and serve meals on the line. Assist in the storage and inventory of supplies; transfer food ingredients from storage area to cooking area. Clean food service area, tables and kitchen equipment and appliances.

Essential functions:

Keep serving counter stocked with salad, desserts and other foods.  Make coffee, tea and other beverages.  Set up cafeteria lines and serve meals on the line.  Perform clean-up and sanitation duties by washing dishes/utensils, store in orderly fashion.  Assist with food preparation and service area daily which includes keeping refrigerators, floors, and food carts clean. 

Education and Experience Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent  Six (6) months experience as a food handler. Must possess a current ServSafe (Food Handler) Certification.  Able to repeatedly lift, pull, push and carry up to 20 lbs. A valid driver license in the state where the facility is located with an acceptable driving record required.
