As a Dishwasher at Pine Canyon, your primary role is to ensure the cleanliness and organization of all kitchenware, maintaining the club’s high sanitation standards. You will play a vital role in supporting kitchen operations by efficiently cleaning and stocking dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment while keeping the kitchen environment safe and organized.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Dish Cleaning & Sanitization: Wash, sanitize, and properly store all dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans. Kitchen Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness of the entire kitchen, including sweeping, mopping, and organizing dry storage, walk-in coolers, outside storage areas, back dock, and dumpster areas. Trash Disposal: Empty trash receptacles and properly dispose of garbage in accordance with sanitation guidelines. Equipment Cleaning: Perform daily cleaning of dry storage areas, walk-in shelving, steam tables, hoods, and exhaust systems. Restocking: Restocking banquet equipment such as chaffing dishes, heat lamps, baskets, etc. Safe Work Practices: Follow all safety and sanitation protocols to maintain a secure working environment. Closing Duties: Clean and sanitize all kitchen areas at the end of service. Dependability: Exhibit regular and reliable attendance while maintaining a professional demeanor. Adaptability: Perform other duties as assigned to support kitchen efficiency and team success.

Minimum Qualifications:

Previous experience in a fast-paced restaurant or kitchen environment preferred.

Physical Demands:

Frequently stands, walks, and uses hands for cleaning and organizing. Regularly reaches, talks, and hears. Occasionally stoops, kneels, crouches, or crawls. Regularly lifts up to 50 pounds up to 100 pounds.

Environment/Noise:

Regularly works in a hot, wet, and humid kitchen environment. Receiving hot pots, pans, areas, and objects. Dealing with and cleaning sharp objects. Occasionally exposed to extreme cold (walk-in coolers) and moving mechanical parts. Noise level is moderate to high.
