**Job Title: Dismantler** **Job Description** Perform disassembly functions using hand or power tools. Disassemble and repair salvageable parts from heavy trucks and equipment. Organize and transport disassembled parts and equipment to specified locations within the salvage yard for sale to customers. Maintain contact with supervisor to receive instructions. Inspect trucks or equipment for disassembly and organize tools for the task. Provide own tools for disassembly tasks. Drive or move trucks or equipment to assigned locations for disassembly. Evaluate self-work to ensure compliance with work instructions. Use necessary test equipment to evaluate the salvage of truck and equipment parts. Perform cleaning operations using detergent baths, degreasing, and grit brushing. Understand and practice safety requirements. Work harmoniously with all departments.
