Disney+ is The Walt Disney Company’s Direct to Consumer video entertainment service targeted to families. The service consists of long form and short form video built around six key content brands (Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic and Star) with an appealing and easy to use interface accessed across multiple platforms (e.g. televisions, mobile devices).
The Disney+ team is responsible for the roll out and ongoing performance and operations of Disney+ across EMEA, specifically focused on programming strategy, marketing, customer acquisition and retention, partnerships, research and analytics.
This important role is a key part of Disney+, responsible for driving subscriber growth and product roadmaps for Disney+ for our customer base across EMEA. Focused primarily on Identity and Growth, the Product Operations Manager leads key workstreams of price rises, payment optimizations and customer growth feature deployments. Reporting to Senior Manager, Product & Operations, based in London, whilst working closely with US counterparts and local market teams, as well as regionally based forecasting and insights teams.
This is an office-based role. 4 days working in the Hammersmith, London office with 1 day working from home.
The Opportunity & Responsibilities:
Lead feature prioritization and deployment for EMEA price rises on Disney+. Integral role with commerce and payment teams to optimize payment for local markets in EMEA. Work with global & regional teams on Product features on Disney+ in EMEA, with effective roadmap planning Manage complex product initiatives, with effective prioritisation across several stakeholder teams. Working closely with multiple teams to bring product updates to life, and establish any local nuances for launch Work closely with analytics teams to understand testing results, and provide any recommendation back to business leads. Use of data and insight to fully understand customer behaviours and develop recommendations, levers & tactics to optimise product features and deployments. Work with local markets on QA of Disney+ app on local devices Work with the team on Disney+ data capabilities & segmentation, to better serve our customers with off platform communications (email, push and in-app messages)The Experience We Require From You:
Previous experience within the Payment Optimisation is crucial.Successful track record in product and/or working within a global matrix for product prioritisation Experience in product environment. Desired: Experience within a subscription business and proven ability to deliver improvements to KPIs Results-focused with extensive experience in test and learn at a customer level Thrives through working in cross-functional / multi-territory teams, ideally experience in an international matrix organisation A deep understanding and interest in latest technology and digital businesses, awareness of the unique challenges of a consumer subscription business essential Understanding of market nuances and dynamics to deliver a global strategy while also balancing local adaptions to drive local results An outstanding data driven approach to understand customer behaviorsThe Perks
