As a member of the Disney Institute marketing strategy team within the Disney Signature Experiences marketing organization, this nimble role will support a growing variety of existing in-person learning programs, identification and nurturing of advisory clients, and overall Disney institute brand strategy to drive credibility in the professional marketplace.
This internship is a full-time, six-month commitment in the Orlando, FL area from June 2025 – January 2026.
What You Will Do
The Disney Institute Marketing Strategy Intern will be a part of a dynamic team where they will support and gain exposure to multiple B2B and B2C marketing functions including brand marketing and strategy, accounts-based marketing (ABM) campaign implementation and Salesforce activation, creative development, social media, content creation, website management, paid/digital media, CRM, public relations, and special event execution. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of both creative and technical marketing skills, partnership and communication professionalism, as well as the ability to quickly adapt to shifting business needs and priorities.
Responsibilities include:
Partner with various cross-functional teams to ensure that our presence across marketing, advertising and communication channels supports key fiscal year business objectives for Disney Institute
Track website requests and maintenance updates for Disney Institute.com
Support the development of digital content across blog posts, social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn, and expanding video production.
Engage with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and the development of ABM campaigns
Work with key business partners to draft, submit and review email campaigns, including timely reporting of results and overall campaign effectiveness to maximize results and help evolve marketing.
Provide project-management and measurement support for communicating performance of marketing initiatives.
Support sales tool creation, including online and offline collateral development, photo and video shoots.
Attend meetings with internal/external partners and clients, assist with special projects as needed, and provide general administrative support.
Ability to assist with writing for blog posts, social content and other collateral, as well as performing some digital asset design and modifications.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Strong analytical and data management skills.
Demonstrated strong verbal, written communication and project management skills.
Demonstrated computer proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Keynote.
Active experience in social media platforms and knowledge of trends and consumer behaviors
Team player who can work across diverse teams, partners and divisions
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Proven self-starter and ability to balance multiple priorities, and proactive nature.
Experience with social media, content creation, and trends.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience and knowledge of Salesforce tools
Proficiency with Canva, and other design programs such as Adobe Creative Suite software Photoshop, Acrobat, and InDesign.
Former Disney College Program participant, working knowledge of Walt Disney World Resort or Disneyland Resort
Previous internship or professional experience in Marketing, Advertising, Mass Communications, Social Media or similar
Education
Current Junior or Senior year preferred
Major or previous coursework in Marketing, Journalism, Advertising, Mass Communications, Business or related field
Eligibility Requirements & Program Information
Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:
Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at the time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.
Be at least 18 years of age
Possess unrestricted work authorization

Program Length: The approximate dates of this internship are June 2025-January 2026
Fully available to work full time hours (approximately 40 per week) for the duration of the internship and have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship
Transportation: Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work
Able to provide own housing for the duration of the internship program in the Orlando, Florida area

The pay rate for this role in Orlando, FL is $22.00 per hour.
